  17. How to contact us

1. Who we are

National Barndos LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company. We are a barndominium design brand. We sell floor plans and design packages directly to our customers.

We do not perform construction work. Where you ask us to, and only after you separately authorize it, we will refer you to an independent, licensed general contractor. Any construction agreement is entered into directly between you and that contractor. National Barndos LLC is not a party to it.

Our registered business address is:

National Barndos LLC
680 S Cache Street, Suite 100-12679
Jackson, WY 83001

This Policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through our design, sales, customer service, and marketing activities.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide directly

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, mobile and other phone numbers, mailing or project address, and similar contact details.
  • Project and inquiry data: details you share about your desired build, budget range, timeline, lot or land information, floor-plan preferences, and other information you submit through our forms or on-Site chat.
  • Contractor and partner data: if you apply to join our contractor or partner network, business name, license information, service area, insurance details, and related professional information.
  • Communications: the content of messages, emails, texts, chat messages, and call records when you communicate with us.
  • Transaction data: records of plans, design packages, or services you request or purchase. Payment card details are processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Consent records: where you consent to receive text messages, we record the consent language you accepted, the date and time, the page or channel where you gave it, and your IP address.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and dates and times of access.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 7.

Information from third parties

  • Advertising and social media platforms (for example, Meta and Google), analytics providers, and our customer relationship management and messaging providers.

We do not purchase, rent, or receive consumer contact lists from lead sellers, lead aggregators, or data brokers.

3. How we collect information

We collect information when you:

  • Complete a form or use the chat window on the Site or on a landing page we operate;
  • Request a sample plan, quote, or consultation;
  • Call, email, or text us;
  • Opt in to receive text messages as described in Section 5;
  • Interact with our advertising or social media content; or
  • Browse the Site, which uses cookies and similar technologies.

We use a third-party customer relationship management and messaging provider to host our forms, on-Site chat, and messaging. That provider processes information on our behalf and under our instructions.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the plans, design packages, quotes, and information you request;
  • Follow up with you about your project by phone, email, and, where you have consented, text message;
  • Refer you to an independent licensed general contractor, where you request a referral and separately authorize us to share your project information with that named contractor;
  • Process and fulfill orders for plans, design packages, and related services;
  • Operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Site and our services;
  • Send marketing and promotional communications where you have opted in, from which you may opt out at any time;
  • Measure and improve the performance of our advertising and marketing;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. SMS / text messaging and mobile information

Your mobile information is never sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, text-messaging consent, or opt-in data with any third party, affiliate, partner, or contractor for that party’s own marketing or promotional purposes, or for any purpose other than operating and delivering the National Barndos LLC messaging program you opted into. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our messaging program, such as our messaging platform provider, is limited to operating, delivering, and technically supporting that program, and those subcontractors may not use the information for their own marketing.

How we collect your consent

We collect text-messaging consent on the Site through a form or chat window that presents two separate consent checkboxes: one for non-marketing messages and one for marketing messages. Neither box is pre-selected. You may check one, both, or neither.

Consenting to receive text messages is never required to submit a form, to receive information, or to purchase any product or service. Providing your phone number alone is not consent to receive text messages. We send only the categories of messages you affirmatively agreed to receive.

When you consent, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from National Barndos LLC at the number you provided. Each consent applies only to the National Barndos LLC messaging program described above. We do not operate shared, co-branded, or co-registered opt-in forms, and we do not collect consent on behalf of any other business.

Contractors do not receive your mobile information

Independent contractors in our referral network do not receive your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent from us, and they do not send you text messages using consent you provided to National Barndos LLC. If you want to receive text messages from a contractor, you must provide consent to that contractor directly, under that contractor’s own messaging program and privacy practices.

Opting out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. You may opt out of marketing messages while continuing to receive non-marketing messages by contacting us at support@nationalbarndos.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not sell, rent, or provide your information to lead buyers, lead aggregators, data brokers, or marketing partners. We never sell or share your phone number, mobile information, or text-messaging consent and opt-in data. We may share other information as follows:

  • Service providers: vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, customer relationship management and messaging, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations. Any mobile numbers or opt-in data shared with such subcontractors is limited to operating, delivering, and technically supporting our messaging program and is not used for their own marketing.
  • Independent licensed general contractors, on your authorization: if you ask us to refer you to a contractor for your project, we will identify the contractor to you by name. Only after you separately authorize that referral will we share the project information necessary for the contractor to prepare a proposal, together with the contact details you specifically designate for that referral. We do not share your mobile phone number, text-messaging consent, or opt-in data with contractors. Contractors are independent businesses, not National Barndos LLC, they contract directly with you, and their use of information you provide them is governed by their own privacy practices.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of National Barndos LLC, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Advertising and analytics disclosure. Although we do not sell personal information for money and never share your phone number or text-messaging consent data, our use of advertising and analytics cookies and pixels (described in Sections 7 and 8) may involve disclosing online identifiers, device information, and browsing activity to advertising partners such as Meta and Google. Under some state privacy laws, this activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out of this activity as described in Sections 8 and 12.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions. Where required, we present a cookie notice or consent tool.

Because there is no common industry standard for recognizing “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. Where required by law, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising for the browser or device from which we receive the signal.

8. Advertising and analytics

We use advertising and analytics services, which may include Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and similar platforms, to measure and deliver advertising. These providers may use cookies and pixels to collect information about your activity across sites and services. You can learn about and manage interest-based advertising choices through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and through each platform’s ad settings.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Text-messaging consent and opt-out records are retained for at least four years to document your consent and to comply with applicable messaging regulations.

10. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your privacy rights and choices

  • Marketing email: you may unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time, as described in Section 5.
  • Access and updates: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details in Section 17.

12. State-specific privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (including in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws). Subject to applicable law and verification, these may include the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it;
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal information;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising; and
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

National Barndos LLC does not sell personal information for money and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit under applicable law. As described in Section 6, our use of advertising cookies may qualify as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws; you may opt out through the methods in Section 8 or by submitting a recognized opt-out preference signal (see Section 7).

To exercise any available right, contact us using the details in Section 17. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to our verification of your identity and the agent’s authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline your request, you may have the right to appeal that decision by contacting us at the same address; if you have concerns about our response, you may contact your state attorney general.

13. Children’s privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, including those of independent contractors and material suppliers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

15. Users outside the United States

We operate in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
