Every major browser lets you see what cookies are stored, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies. These settings are usually found under Privacy, Security, or Site Settings. Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of the Site from working, including forms and the chat window.
Browser settings apply to that browser on that device only. If you use more than one browser or device, set your preference on each.
Opting out of interest-based advertising does not stop you from seeing ads. It means the ads you see are less likely to be based on your activity.
